Going Home
I've been back with my father the last few weeks. He has had health problems for severals years, and it looks like he is losing the battle. Barring a miracle, another WWII vet and member of the greatest generation is going home to see Jesus. It is the world's loss. Please pray for my family.

Tell your daddy "Thank you" and give him a big hug from me. I appreciate that he put his life on the line so our country could go on. My dad was in the service although he saw no combat due to bizarre circumstances. Check my entry "Daddy, what did you do in the war?" I reveal that dad asked for a desk job but he would have followed orders no matter what. I heard of a bumper sticker that says "If you can read this, thank a teacher. If it's in English, thank a soldier." Give your daddy another hug.
